Outfit: dunkelbraune Jacke, braune Hose, rot karierte Bluse & jadegrüne Tasche
Stadtflucht wird im Alter seltener – die Hälfte der 20- bis 40-Jährigen in Wien träumt von Ruhe im Grünen, doch je älter, desto unwahrscheinlicher der Umzug. Über drei Viertel der 60- bis 75-Jährigen bleiben lieber in der Stadt – vielleicht, weil sie gelernt haben, die Hektik zu meistern. Mit fast 60 kann ich das bestätigen, es fällt mir sehr leicht, kleine Auszeiten zu genießen und Achtsamkeit inmitten des Großstadttrubels zu leben. Der Wiener Stadtpark ist einer meiner Lieblingsorte dafür. Im Juli zeigte ich die schöne Promenade neben dem Wienfluss, diesmal möchte ich euch gerne den Teich zeigen. Und natürlich mein Outfit of the Day.

Am Wasser entspanne ich besonders gut und lasse die Stadt-Hektik hinter mir. Der Wienfluss führt momentan kaum Wasser, also ziehe ich weiter zum Teich, um die gefiederten Stadtbewohner zu besuchen. Heute dreht sich alles um Mindfulness - also ja, ich habe versucht, mit den Enten zu meditieren, aber die haben mich nur quak quak angequakt – typisch Wien! *lach

Der Ententeich ist einer meiner Lieblingsplätze in Wien - ich liebe die Stille, nur unterbrochen von Wasserplätschern und dem Schnattern meiner gefiederten Freunde.

I sometimes think about living in the countryside, but I'd prefer to live in Gdynia, by the sea, in the city, yet close to water and forests. In Bolesławiec, where I am now, there's both a river and a forest—everything I love.

Wien hat aber auch besonders schöne Orte, um zu entspannen. Ich kenne einige Großstädte. Wien empfand ich persönlich nicht als hektisch.

Wien hat viele Ruheoasen und nur wenig Hektik. Wobei der Alltag in der Stadt bestimmt hektischer ist als in einem Dorf. Ich finde Hamburg für eine Stadt sehr angenehm, dort habe ich mich wohlgefühlt. :)

LöschenDas Land ist mMn nix, für Leute, die die Abwechslung suchen. Denn nichts ist langweiliger als die üblichen Spazierwege ums eigene Wohngebäude. Und irgendwo hin fahren und sich mit denen, die wirklich aus der Stadt kommen in den Stau stellen? Das macht hier freiwillig auch keiner. Also chillt man zu Hause.

In Wien ist es auf jeden Fall so, wir sind insgesamt sehr viel in der Stadt unterwegs und eher wenig zu Haus. Ist wohl die Wiener Geselligkeit. :D Ja, wahrscheinlich ist das Mentalität oder auch Gewohnheitssache. Ich fahre nie raus aus Wien um irgendwo außerhalb spazieren zu gehen. :)

AntwortenLöschenIch könnte mir vorstellen, dass "ältere" Menschen auch deshalb weniger gern hinaus aufs Land ziehen, weil es da mit medizinischer Versorgung etc. schlechter aussieht - in der Gro0stadt hat man halt allgemein kürzere Wege, was ich auch immer mehr begrüße. Und aufs Auto angewiesen zu sein, ist ja auch so ne Sache... nicht jeder hat eins oder kann/will fahren.
Und schließlich lebst du schon lange genug in Wien, um die Ruheoasen genau zu kennen und zu wissen, wo du "auftanken" kannst... der Stadtpark ist ein besonders schöner Ort dafür, wie mir scheint.

Du hast vollkommen recht. In der Stadt gibt es auch schöne ruhige Plätze. Ein wunderschöner Stadtpark ist das . Wir haben zwei grosse Parks in Mannheim, allerdings kosten die Eintrittsgeld.dein Look gefällt mir sehr gut. Entspannt und schön kombiniert.

Eintritt in den Park kenne ich bis jetzt nur aus Italien. Bei uns kostet es nun Eintritt in eine der großen Kirchen zu gehen, glaube das ist wegen dem Übertourismus.

Dass es Stellen gibt in Wien, wo man nur Grünes sieht, ist enorm. Das ist manchmal auf dem Land gar nicht so leicht möglich. Ich bin in der Stadt aufgewachsen, lebe jetzt auf dem Land und bin mir nie ganz klar, was ich eigentlich bevorzuge, bin immer ein wenig hin- und hergerissen. So geht die Zeit hin, und es wird sich daran wohl nichts mehr ändern. Ideal, aber nicht erreichbar: ein Häuschen auf dem Land und eine Wohnung in der Stadt... .... „Genussblick“: ein wunderbarer Ausdruck, und er passt ebenso wunderbar.

Auch ich kenne die Oasen in unserer mittelalterlichen Stadt, die allerdings viel weniger sind als die in Wien, wo ein Kaiser sich viel Grün gegönnt hat. Aber es gibt diese Oasen überall und man muss sie nur kennen. So wie Du durch Deine Stadt mit wachen Augen gehst, so lernt frau ihre Stadt kennen - und lieben.
Und wenn sie dann noch so stilvoll gekleidet ist, macht es doppelt Spaß.

AntwortenLöschenI'd hate to live in the countryside, I don't drive and would hate to have to rely on Jon to drive me anywhere. I love being in walking distance of the shops, the bars, the railway station, cinema and the swimming pool and I can also walk to the hospital, doctor and dentist, too!

Du hast recht - Mindfulness funktioniert von innen heraus und hat nichts mit Stadt- oder Landleben zu tun. Man spürt richtig, wie sehr du diese kleinen Momente der Achtsamkeit in der Stadt genießen kannst. Der Ententeich scheint der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen zu sein – und ich verstehe sogar, warum die Enten deine Meditation "unterbrochen" haben – sie ergänzten deinen schönen, fast ganz in Braun Look perfekt mit dem Kontrast des karierten Hemdes und der Tasche. Einfach strahlend!

I'm glad there's a place for you to go to get away from the crowds and enjoy nature. That's interesting that in Vienna, the older one gets, the less likely they are to move. It's just the opposite here. There are many people that retire up here and want to get a little place in the mountains after working a lifetime in the city. But there is a lot of advantages with living in the city as one gets older too. That brick wall with the Autumn leaves gracing it is beautiful. And I love your last words.
